Women’s Health & Fertility Acupuncture

Expert Care for Every Stage of Womanhood | Restoring rhythm, balance, and vitality - from fertility to menopause.

You Know Your Body Best. If you feel like something is "off" - whether it's painful cycles, difficulty conceiving, or the exhausting shifts of menopause - you are right. And you don't have to just "deal with it."

At EsTherapy, we specialize in Women’s Health because women’s bodies are dynamic. They require a medicine that listens to their cycles rather than suppressing them.

Dr. Esther combines the clinical techniques of Acupuncture with Traditional Nutritional Guidance to treat the root cause of your hormonal imbalance.

Some of the symptoms we address at our clinic include:

1. Fertility & Conception Support:

Preparing the soil before planting the seed. Whether you are trying to conceive naturally or undergoing IVF/IUI, acupuncture can significantly increase your chances of success.

  • How we help: We focus on increasing blood flow to the uterus, improving egg quality, and regulating ovulation.

  • Stress Reduction: The fertility journey is stressful. Our treatments lower cortisol (stress hormones) which allows your reproductive system to function optimally.

2. Menstrual Health (Period Support):

Your cycle shouldn't stop your life.
Painful cramps, irregular periods, PMS, and bloating are common, but they are not "normal." They are signs of inflammation or stagnation.

  • Conditions Treated: PCOS, Endometriosis, Amenorrhea (missing periods), and severe PMS.

  • The Goal: A regular, pain-free cycle that functions as a sign of health, not a monthly burden.

3. Pregnancy & Postpartum Care Supporting two lives at once:

  • During Pregnancy: Safe, drug-free relief for morning sickness, back pain, breech presentation, and labor preparation.

  • The "Fourth Trimester": In Chinese culture, the month after birth is critical for the mother's recovery. We use moxibustion, food therapy, and acupuncture to replenish your energy, support lactation, and prevent postpartum depletion.

4. Menopause & Perimenopause Navigating the change with grace:

You don't need to suffer through hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, or "menopause rage." We view this transition not as an ending, but as a "Second Spring."

  • The Approach: We use cooling, nourishing treatments to settle the nervous system and balance hormones naturally, without heavy reliance on synthetic medication.

The EsTherapy Difference: More Than Needles:

Dr. Esther believes that true hormonal balance happens daily, not just during your appointment.

  • Traditional Food Wisdom: Your hormones are built from the food you eat. Dr. Esther provides specific dietary guidance - rooted in Maimonides’ principles and Traditional Chinese Medicine - to help you nourish your body and reduce inflammation.

  • Self-Care Education: You will learn how to read your body’s signals so you can stay balanced between treatments.

1. The In-Depth Consultation: We don't just look at your main symptom; we look at you. Your first visit begins with a comprehensive review of your health history. We discuss your sleep, digestion, stress levels, and lifestyle. This conversation allows Dr. Esther to "connect the dots" between symptoms that might seem unrelated.

2. Traditional Diagnosis & Palpation: Reading the body’s map. Unlike a standard doctor’s visit where you just talk, Dr. Esther uses a hands-on approach to understand your internal health:

  • Pulse Reading: To assess the strength and rhythm of your energy (Qi) and identify which systems are tired or stressed.

  • Channel Palpation: Dr. Esther will gently press along the acupuncture meridians (usually on your arms and legs) to identify "blockages" or reactive areas. This allows us to pinpoint exactly where the imbalance is located before we ever insert a needle.

3. The Treatment Experience: Deep rest and restoration. Once you are comfortable on the table, Dr. Esther will insert sterile, hair-thin needles. Most points are located on the arms, legs, and head.

  • Does it hurt? Most patients feel only a slight pinch that disappears instantly, followed by a sensation of heaviness, warmth, or flow (Qi).

  • Relaxation: You will rest for 25-40 minutes. Many patients find this time so relaxing that they fall asleep.

4. After the Treatment: The "Acupuncture Glow." Immediately after a session, you may feel a sense of profound calm or "floating." Others feel a surge of energy.

  • Note: Acupuncture moves energy, which burns fuel. It is normal to feel hungry afterward, so we recommend eating a light snack before or after your visit.

5. Frequency & The Treatment: Plan Acupuncture is cumulative - like going to the gym. One session starts the process; a series of sessions creates lasting change.

  • Standard Plan: Most conditions require weekly treatments for 4-6 weeks to stabilize the body.

  • Maintenance: Once your symptoms resolve, we taper treatments down to once a month to maintain your health.
